Notes:

• Only 2 bumpers! Going to three was certainly an improvement, especially in the configuration shown. 2 side-to-side bumpers might make sense, but not this! When I worked at Williams there was always this pinball designer shared consciousness feeling that 'three bumpers is right'. Four can work (e.g. Firepower) but never two. Pat Lawlor, to break the trend did 6 on Whirlwind and 5 on Adam's Family - and in the former case I seem to recall he answered a challenge in doing so.

• No Eight Ball Saucer in the upper right. Instead, there's a kickback-like thing. Hmm...this almost makes me wonder if this prototype was for the 3rd generation EBD - the one with an identical playfield but the cartoony cowboy side artwork. It just seems to modern. Maybe they were going to change the EBD playfield but changed their mind.

• Along the same lines, check out what looks to be flash bulb covers - there's 4 of them. Now if those truly are flushers, then either Bally was way ahead of Williams (High speed was the first, no?) or this is a much later re-do of EBD.

• Extra spinner and lane on the right.

• Eight Ball drop target looks much easier to hit. I don't think it'd been as much fun with such an easy target. That was part of the suspense - having to hit that last eight ball target once all the other balls were sunk with the "Chung Chung Chung..." sounds and the synth voice.

• No right drain lane. Wow, that'd make the game a lot easier!
