Coming back from the Stanford Accelerator on August 25th, 2004 I noticed how beautiful the clouds looked over the mountains with the moon out. So, I parked at the 'Park and Ride' at the Edgewood exit near 280 and took some shots.

While waiting, I saw a couple of ghost cars. There's the tail lights; but where's the car?

On my Canon S1 IS camera it has an ISO setting. You can set it to 50, 100, 200 or 400. Well, these were unfortunately at 200. The larger the setting, the less light is needed for a picture. But, you get a more grainy picture as you can see. Can you guess what the colored dots are in the first picture?

In fact here's one before and after using Neat Image to clean up the grainyness

The rest of the pictures were at ISO 50, aperture open all the way and various exposures. Unfortunately by this time more clouds had rolled in.
