Make a text file called filename with all your sayings separated by '%', e.g.

this is entry 1
%
this is entry 2
%
this is entry 3

Then at the prompt type

strfile

This creates a file called filename.dat

Stick both filename and filename.dat in /usr/share/games/fortune

Then simply type...

fortune filename

Note, this will also add your new fortune to the random mix if you just type fortune. You can 'keep it separated' if you put it in a different directory, then specify the path when you run fortune.
