A prayer composed from Psalms

(see 18:1-2; 51:10; 62:1-2,5; 86:17; 116:1-2, 6-7; 138:3; 144:1)

I love You LORD, for You heard my voice cry for mercy. Because You turned Your ear to me, I will call on You as long as I live.

When I was in great need, You saved me; when I called, You answered. You made me bold and stouthearted

My soul rests once more, for the LORD has been good to me

You are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; in You I take refuge. You are my shield and the horn of my salvation. You train my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

My hope comes from You. I will never be shaken.

Create in me a pure heart. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight. Give me a sign of your goodness.
