Click to Enlarge Untitled Spirit AMC 1980 Silver 0 0 Mom gave it away! 6 258 (zoom!) My mom's old car. Fun! When you see Wayne's World next time, realize that the two people driving in an AMC air guitaring were also me and Tony Mazza in this car. Mark Molloy taught me much about competitive driving in this vehicle. Had tremendous fun in lightpole-sparse Brementowne Illinois K-Mart doing doughnuts

Roy Barfield's Old Car Corolla Toyota 1979 White & Rust 200 0 Abandoned in Urbana Illinois 4 85 Got my money's worth. Got me through my first half of my junior year at U of I, lots of trips to see grandparents in Indiana. Dad hooked me up with Roy. Car was 'well known' by Roy's co-workers and for a long time after they asked me how Roy's car was doing.
Untitled Mustang Ford 1983 Red, accented with 4 different colored quarter panels 3000 1500 Sold to JohnYates in crazy deal involving AV equipment. Lost the title, got impounded! John sold it to someone who promptly blew the motor 8 302 (hopped up with custom cam and intake) LOTS of fun. A four speed with T-Tops. Very little exhaust and so the car's rumble was louder than its horn. In the hands of the right/wrong person one could experience near death experiences in this sled.
Mustang Convertible Ford 1990 Red, black top 16500 10000 Got stolen outside the theatre on Ohio Street in Chicago when I went to see the re-release of 'Return of the Jedi' 8 302 Racked up 90000 miles on this guy and no significant problems. Loved this car, but the frame was not stiff at all. Bought in Pittsburgh from a nice old man at a Ford dealer after everyone else laughed at my request to test drive a mustang based on my age and prior vehicle (see above)
The Ball Hauler Van Ford 1982? Grey & Rust 2000 0 Abandoned (stolen/towed with a 'For Sale' sign in the window at a KMart on Bethel Road, Columbus OH 8 302 My pinball hauling vehicle. Comfy captain's chairs! Dual gas tanks. Almost asphixiated my dad from burnt oil fumes when he had to drive it once. When it disappeared I didn't really care as it needed a lot of work. If someone could actually get that thing to start and drive it off I say bravo.
Click to Enlarge Ugly Car Marquis Mercury 1978 Tan & rust, brown top 300 150 traded in on the cop car 8 400 JohnYates' grandfather's old car, who bought it back after it got totalled. Most comfy car I ever owned. Drove from to Chicago to Arizona in this trusty steed.
Click to Enlarge Untitled Corvette Chevrolet 1967 White, black top and stinger 27000 25000 Ebay 8 350 (a 427 car, but old motor long gone) Best looking car I ever owned. A total blast. Tweaked handling like on rails. But no A/C, crummy radio, high vibration (from a 4.11 rear end!) so it was unusable for my 42 mile commute to work in California. But I did get it out on Highway 1
??? - ask JohnYates Caprice, Police Edition Chevrolet 1991 White doors, rest black. Just like a cop car. 2000 2500 Sold to James, my friend Katy Bixby's then-fiance 8 350 Zoom! Constantly freaked out people you pull behind. Still had the searchlight. No cage in the rear. Popped front tired in the tires spikes at Thrifty valet parking. Buyer James also moved to California and the cops harassed him continually about the color - but in Illinois ex-cop cars are common so no problems there
Click to Enlarge Black-a-bee Stealth AWD Twin Turbo Dodge 1991 Black 13500 7500 Ebay 6 180 Quick! If convertible, I'd never had sold it.
Untitled Corvette Chevrolet 1999 Sparkly Red 37000 -- Still have it! 8 347 My favorite car ever -except I want a 6 speed. Comfy, fast, and lots of creature comforts.
