The reader was excellent
This book was very entertaining and educational at the same time. It is long (20+ hours) and there is rarely a dull moment. I can't say it's the most upbeat book, as it is dealing with life in communist Russia circa 1917-1925 (roughly). But it really gives you a picture of what life was like for a person with capitalist ideals under this regime.
And of course, with an author like Ayn Rand, you know it is going to be brilliantly written. The main character is basically given Ayn's own ideas, values, and convictions. Check this book out.
